I transcribed all the Cds mentioned. Ettrick MIs has 235 headstones recorded each with a digital photograph. The Cd also has a Militia list for Ettrick and Yarrow for 1802 a War memorial list and a synopsis on James Hogg Tibbie Shiels and Rev Thos. Bostob.
Kirkhope is slightly smaller and has the same info and also a school list for 1876-80.
Yarrow is larger with 439 inscriptions and photos ,war mem,militia lists and school iist for 1874 and only came out last month.The above all have indexex for names and places.
Selkirk Auld Kirk 1600s-1800s also with 467 stones and photos.and War Mem in Selkirk.
Brierlaw Cemetery in selkirk is the next oldest in 1800s and Shawfield which is adjoing has some 1900s and now up to date.They are both over 100 headstones but No photos as it would make the discs too big.. But it means that all aoo Selkirk has now been recorded.
Ashkirk is also finished as has over 400 stones and photos militia list schools list and aname and place indexes amd has a three page index simply for Scotts therein.
St Marys is too far gone to updat but we have it on disc as well also Lindean and all pre 1855
After we the Selkirkshire Antiquarian Soc have produced he CDs we give them to the Border Family History Society BFHS (
www.bordersfhs.org.uk )..who produce their own versions with our transcriptions.Our society hope to have our own web site shortly as well.
