 would like to know if there were any lodging house in abbey street back in the 1920..

Many people took in lodgers in that era - apart from official lodging houses.

many thanks for your reply my late grandfather worked for the post office in the enginerring dept. back in  the 1920s  and would stay in digs as there were known then  the adress i am looking was in abbey street wexford  the people who lived there doyles be gratefull for any help re/ this topic...
