To part answer my own question an Ann Mary Stanton was bapt at Wisbech St. Marys 7 Jan 1855,IGI extracted record, which seems somewhat late, but not excessively so, the daughter of William Redlin Stanton and Elizabeth Sharp. Any known connections of them to Lincs etc.? Thanks.

Cant see any Lills at the school in 1861

I asked because Ann married Alfred Lill (b1851 Halton Holgate Lincs) at Wisbech in 1875. I wondered if his father was teaching there in 1861, possibly he taught there in 1871, or there may of course be no connection.Thanks for marriage information.

They had already started the school by 1851, though it was a lot smaller.
