I don't suppose it would just be Hun for Cheshire Hundred? (Never seen it on a census, but getting desperate now ???

I'm of the opinion that the first letter isn't an "H". If you look at the H of Halifax just above is bears little or no resemblance. Looks more likely to be an "A" followed by "l" as previously suggested.
