Hodnett + Wards of Benthall

I'm trying to find more out about Esther Ward and Benjamin Hodnett both born about 1800. He was born in Shipton, not sure about her but they lived in the brilliantlly named Hungerdale. They descended to me (Alan Harley) via Perks and Brights of the same locale.
Any info about them would be great. Hodnett is obviously like Harley a Salopian name but unlike the later reaches back to Norman invaders of the area!
