Death registrations confirmation, please.

Hi all,

Someone long ago suggested I request that someone look at the details for the following, and I am just getting around to it!  I'm not even sure if it is possible...but I thought I'd ask anyway!

I am seeking someone who is able to have a look at New York County records for two deaths:

Joseph Carson, 65 yrs, old died Aug 31, 1946, in Manhattan NY. Death Certificate #18671 If he is mine, his father was Thomas, mother Elizabeth Crombie.

His wife Jessie Carson, ms Anderson, 65 yrs old, died Oct 20, 1947, in Manhattan NY.  Death Certificate # 22505.  IF she belongs to me, her father is David Anderson, and mother Janet or Jessie Hislop

As jorose said, this information would likely cost money for anyone to get a look at it, unless they're making a trip to the Municipal Archives.

The only other alternatives I can think of to purchasing it as discussed above would be (a) if you have a Family History Center near you, you could order the correct volume of the microfilm entitled "Manhattan death certificates, 1920-1949" to be sent to your location for a small fee or (b) Request that these certificates be copied for you for a small fee, as explained here:   http://tiny.cc/7Mghn

I would not be expecting anyone to spend money.  It does say in my first post 'have a look',  but perhaps I ought to have been clearer and said 'please have a look if you happen to be going to the municipal offices'.
