Hi Celia,
How kind of you!!sorry about the double entry.
Yes please- I have been a member for sometime-but hadn't got enough info really to ask for follow up.
You helped a fellow poster-who kindly,I think he is a saint ;( although he is usually rained in !!!)who realised I was looking in wrong area-Cheshire,not Lancashire, and pinned down my family in Manor Rd up to 1931!,Many thanks for that.
Yes please,if you can spare the time, any info would be appreciated these Lunts of mine have been so difficult to pin down.( as I am in Spain,it makes it difficult to go and check things myself, although I did go and see where my father was born,
190 Poulton Rd last year-next door neighbourwas fantastic-allowed my daughter and myself to see inside her home to get an idea what house was like-perfeck!!!)
At one time John Lunt was a quite a businessman, even giving out dividends (1912) Paint and Varnish Manufacturers,as was my father. James Harold Lunt who moved to N Ire;land where I was born.

I myself, worked as coach driver firstly for National Travel West- Skelhorne St Liverpool( first female driver!)-which then became part of National Express-done the Brownlow hill-before we got posh with new coach station--I ramble !!!
My knowledge of Liverpool is limited-so please excuse my ignorance..
I have a story which I will post on Cheshire-I did post on Liverpool a long time ago,and this is how I started my family trail.
Many thanks to you Celia ,and my lovely in Wexford!!!!!

After a long search for any burials due to not knowing the quarter I didn’t find the burials, yours or any other Lunts. Which I found odd seeing that there were 12 deaths for Lunt registered in wallasey.
I went through C.O.E 1927 January to the first week in January of the next year. Did the same with John Harold 1935.
I then looked on the non-con burials the same way Jan to Jan for both
Not a single Lunt burial in those four years.

I did look in Landican for John Harold but no he wasn’t there, the 1927 death is to early for Landican .The next nearest cemetery is Flaybrick. But why be buried there when they could have been in Rake lane or the new Landican cemetery? There are of course other cemeteries but further away. If they can’t be found in other cemeteries do you think they might have had family graves out of Wirral Maybe in Liverpool? Just a thought

Many thanks Celia :)

How strange- My   Lunt family originated from Sefton,Liverpool, and I know that great great grandfather Peter Lunt born Sefton  c1833 died 1882  is buried in St Helens Sefton, as is father Peter b c1798 died 1835, ( cant get any further on that one)
My grandfather James PeterLunt was cremated at Thorton in 1964,on looking at my A-Z  of Liverpool,I find it is very close to Lunt and Sefton!!!
Most of his life John Lunt lived in Everton and West Derby,so perhaps he went back there?
Anyway,I do appreciate your kindness.

Adios

Hi Celia.

I have just received death cert for John Lunt, Paint Manufacturer,he did die in 1927,and informant was John Harold Lunt died 1935.
Also the birth cert for my grandmother Eleanor Margaret Roberts,b 1890 whose mother was Mary Hariott(Harriett) Amos born in Mostyn Flint.

Yes that is correct, there were good reasons!,  hope you didn't mind.

Many Many thanks for all the help I have received to all.
As I will have to  try and find where John is buried accross the water,I think we can say I would  this is now completed.
