I have Marion Scott travelling to New Zealand in 1874, with her future grandmother, Elizabeth Walker, and William's brother Robert Walker were also on board.

Where did they travel from & do you have them on any Scottish census which will give their places of birth?

They left Glasgow on the ship "Parsee" on the 11 June 1874.  Marion is on the shipping records as being 22 years old, putting her birth year at 1852.  She died on the 8th of June 1913, and her age at her death was recorded as 62 years old, which puts her birth year at 1851.  No specific places of birth are mentioned unfortunately, and I have not been able to find her on any census records, as there are a number of Marion Scott's that it could be.
Sinnamon (and variants); Black; McBreen; Brady. - Northern Ireland & New Zealand
Liggins, Liggons, Liggens (and variants) - Warwickshire, Leicestershire, Derbyshire & New Zealand
Padman (family very much involved in early Wesleyan Church) - England, Australia and New Zealand
Oxley - England, Australia and New Zealand

If her age on the shipping manifest was accurate, she could have been born in either 1851 or 1852, not necessarily in 1852.

And if her age at death is accurate, she would have been born between 9 June 1850 and 8 June 1851. And she should be in the 1871 census.
Never trust anything you find online (especially submitted trees and transcriptions on Ancestry, MyHeritage, FindMyPast and other commercial web sites) unless it's an image of an original document - and even then be wary because errors can and do occur.

Thanks for that age breakdown - there are a few entries for Marion Scott in the 1871 census, but none stand out as being definitely her, so it's hard to determine which one she is.  There is one record of a Marion Scott, born around 1851, living as a servant in Lanark, Lanarkshire, and that has her place of birth as Lesmahagow, Lanarkshire, that I suspect might be her, but have no way of proving it I don't think.
