Hayes of Breandrum, Kildallan
« on: Monday 09 November 09 08:29 GMT (UK) »
Does anyone have any information on Jeremiah Hayes (1806-1882), a farmer, his wife Esther Hayes nee Darling, and children Francis Thomas Hayes, Susannah Edith Hayes and Jane Hayes. I am aware that Jane was born in Breandrum, Kildallan, Cavan in 1847.

I would be grateful if anyone had any leads on this family.

Thanks, Drew Hayes - Melbourne, Australia

IGI lists Jane's birth in 1847 (submitted). There's also this submitted entry-
James Esther HAYES born Queensland, Austrlia died Dec.1887 (parents Jeremiah Hayes & Esther Darling)
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

hi again
just googled this guys name, there seems to be a jeremiah hayes on a list of soldiers of the 14th regiment, though this guy is listed as coming from cork, though could be him, as it says he deserted in melbourne 1872.
