Is ancestry bugged?
« on: Monday 09 November 09 22:59 GMT (UK) »
Recently, I have noticed that it is difficult to find anything important using Ancestry.co.uk (Census or BMDs).

A part of my tree hinges on finding something I want to see on a marriage certificate, but typically Ancestry has this psychic ability to know that its important for me and won't let me access to this one! Something that isn't quite as important it will let me find with no problem!

Anyone else suffer from this? Maybe its my computer (shouting at it when it crashes has probably turned it nasty).

I've had problems for the last few days, if I go straight to the BMD's or Census I get "no matches found", this is even with records which I know are there.  It's been driving me nuts too, a search from the home page has changed as well, instead of showing all results, its now giving me the option of so many on different census or so many births etc., but a search on someone already linked in a tree is showing in the usual way.  I'm hoping it will sort itself out somehow. >:(
