help with marriage dates - guernsey

Could any one help me with a marriage date of William Rose (son of Jeremiah Rose) to Patty Robert.  They were married in Guernsey.  Patty was previously married to a John Robert who died in 1836. They had a daughter Patty born 1836.  William and Patty had two girls Mary Ann and Louisa born 1851 and 52 respectively.  They emmigrated to Australia in 1854.
Just an aside, I was told that the name Patty was a common nickname for Martha.  Could this be right?

I'm a bit confused about this so maybe Ive got the wrong Family ....
1841 census Guernsey St Martins.

Daniel Robert  age 59  (he's not transcribed but,he looks like he's with the rest on the original)
Judith Lapage age 55
Patty T Robert age 26
Mary Ray Robert age 15
Patty Robert age 4.......All born county.

It is the same family,  Patty T and the 4 year old are mother and daughter. I don't know whether the people are related to Patty or not.  In a later census, you will find that William Rose and Patty Robert are married with two daughters mary ann and louisa.
