FRIGNAL/FRICKNALL marriage - COMPLETED
« on: Thursday 12 November 09 05:21 GMT (UK) »
Hi, I have been trying to find a marriage for George FRIGNAL and Ann, knowing only that they had a son William baptised at Sturton cum Fenton, Notts in 1780. The surname also (though later) appears as FRICKNALL and other variants. If anyone could find a marriage for them that would be fantastic. Also I would have expected that the couple would have had more than one child seeing as they didn't die until the 1820s.

Thanks,
Alexander

Hello Alexander…… :)

The Nottinghamshire FHS haven’t transcribed the baptisms yet for Sturton le Steeple (aka Sturton cum Fenton?) so I can’t confirm any baptisms for George & Ann’s children.

However there is this marriage……

Sturton le Steeple
GEORGE FRISNELL & ANN HINDE – 12th July 1779

Sheila.

Great, thanks Sheila! I never thought to check they had recorded it with an 's' instead of 'ck'.
