Is this second marriage in 1910 San Diego ?

Johnson could have been the name at first marriage. Alverson/Alberson the maiden name !!!

Johnson is a name that appears later.  The daughter Kathryn/Kathleen born 1907 New York is widowed in 1947 and marries a Walter Johnson.  Strange cooincidence !! Also the friend of Nils on the 1909 passenger list- J F Johnnson !!

If it is Nilson Joseph Palme born 1884 then his mother name was Eirckson.

Actually the immigration record I posted is not your Nils Palme.  When I checked further this Nils appears to stay in Qunicy, Massachusetts and his full name is Reynold Nils Palmer.

Well that helps discount one possible.  Is there any more info on the marriage ?

Thank you for the grave link for Edwin. Sorry to respond so slow but my internet connection is playing up and it took me 45 minutes to get to it. Rather stormy today.

Found the first born child Kathryn married in 1930 to a Dan Wright and living in Los Angeles. Widowed in 1947 - remarries to a Johnson.
Seems the birth date could be 21 July 1907 New York - according to a death record for Aug 2002 Cochise. Arizona.  But it well be under her mother's previous married name.

Also death record for Joseph Enfrid in Los Angeles 1993 but no wife yet for him.

Thank you for your help.

Not sure this will help or not but have just seen reference to Eva - written as :-

Eva Cor S Alverson 1881  Helsingborg Skane Sweden.  (Perhaps the "S" could be the Sanfrid piece of Joseph's name)

Re birth for the Sigrid found with Eva 1910:  Palme  Sigrid  Jul  21  1907  38773  Manhattan... odd that this is the same possible date you have for Katherine.  Might be helpful to obtain certificate.

This from Italiangen.org  New York Births

Sigrid is listed as female, so perhaps she changed to a "more American" name.

Cathrine Sigrid Palme married Dan Wright, had three sons. Their second son Harry Wright was my grandfather. Cathrine was my great grandmother, and at the time of her death at 95 yrs. old was the matriarch of a five generation family. She was a beautiful, kind, gentle, and graceful woman.
