Surname interest - Biddlecombe

I am looking for information on my ggrandfather Alfred Biddlecombe's family in Romsey.      Alfred was born around 1836 in Romsey and his parents were James Biddlecombe and Ann. James was born around 1802 and I do not have a surname for Ann. I believe that Jame's parents were David Biddlecombe and Ann Budden.
Any help would be appreciated.

These are also with Parents listed as James and Ann in Romsey but there is a big gap in dates

Can I suggest that you find your family on the 1851 census so that you get confirmation of birth dates and places, especially with such a large apparent age gap.  It could be two families!

But no Alfred.  However, this is only a small portion of the census.  He could be hiding elsewhere.

thank you fr the information. I didn't have his christening date and appreciate it.
In the 1851 census Alfred could have been living on his own, but I appreciate the help.
I have information on him from the 1881 census and know that after that he and family moved to Padbury, Buckinghamshire.

Little Nell pointed out your posting to me - My Biddlecomb(e)'s are from Eling, Hants.  I am interested in your David and Ann Biddlecombe as I have a record from the 1841 census showing them with 2 of their married children and their children.

David is 65-70/Y
Ann/65-70/Y

I am wondering what information  you have about them, or if they could be the same as mine.  Also - one of their sons wives was from Dunhead Wiltshire.
