Hello wicked: I would doubt that the house is still there today.
I did look at the 1911 census and your gg/father was 80 plus at no 11 Kiladeer east. He was also at the same place in the 1901 census. With wife sarah and family.
There are great changes all over mayo today with all the new property they are building.
I guess you could try the Mayo Library in Castlebar to see if they have any pictures of that era.

The number 11 in the 1911 census is the number on the census form not the street number. The townland is Killadeer East and that would have been the address years ago before road names were used in rural areas.

But it does say quite clearly. Residents of house Number 11 in Kiladeer East { Cloonkeen]. mayo

rural areas didn't (and still dont) use house numbers the way that towns and cities do. The reference number given on the census is an index number used to enumerate the houses in townlands. This is sometimes based on the map reference number used by Griffiths and the land registry records.

It is very confusing - #11 is the number of that household on the census form but only houses in towns and cities would have had street names and numbers. The townland is Killadeer East, Cloonkeen is the District Enumeration District.

If you look at Additional pages: 2 you'll see there is no street name or number.
