I'm sure you can access www.freebmd.org.uk the same as we can.

I have a tree that was given me that shows it was Daisy born 1901 who married Francis Lenton, not the daughter of Edward born Toseland. It will take an investment of £7 to confirm her father's name

Polly - there's no baptism in St Neots, nothing on FreeBMD and she doesn't appear with her parents in 1911. What's your source that she ever existed?

Hi David,

The info on them both was given by another member of the family some years ago and as you say Polly doesn't turn up on the "FreeBMD" nor on the 1911 census, nor does Daisy nothing on her after 1901.

Thanks for your info.

There's only one Corn baptism in St Neots - 1 Sept 1905 of Albert Edward, son of Jessie of Green End. Born 21 Feb 1904

Hi David,

Edward Albert son of Jessie apparently born in workhouse, she was unmarried and later married a Edward Barnes and went to Canada after 1911?

A friend as just e-mailed me that the 2nd Daisy parents were Elijah & Clara Jane Corn.
Possible that Polly born/died 1902 and not registered, other info from a descendent agreed with what I had already found.

Hi Barry

I'd found Daisy II born 1902 aged 9 in 1911 with Elijah and Jane Corn, but no sign at all of Daisy daughter of Edward and Martha. I suppose she could have married by 1911, but there's no sign of that on FreeBMD.

If Polly wasn't a stillbirth they'd have needed a death certificate to have buried her (at least in theory)

Daisy Corn married Francis Lenton in St Neots in March 1/4 of 1929.
Ref 3b page 496.

I don't see a William Padison marriage anywhere?

Polly is often a pet name for Mary- I have a couple of them in my tree.

There are a number of William Paddisons though, but not where there is a Corn as a possibly match.

I haven't checked all the possibles for Patterson, of which there are many, being pretty sure that Barry would have already checked this out

Hi,

Have checked various ways, but to no avail.
There is a member of "GenesReunited" a Hazel Harrison who was supposed to be a connection with the Corn family and although she had from my g.g.g.grandfather in a tree, there was no connection until a few days ago when Edward/Martha & their children suddenly showed up, all there but 2 were hidden(Daisy & a Winifred ?).

Was she copying my work??
