Hi All,

What great geaneologists you all are! I'm mightily impressed with the results. All I have to do now is find a connection to thje family tree I have compiled on Ancestry. My contact is in Australia and will no doubt be appearing on here soon to give you all her thanks too. As soon I get any more info or a connection I'll be back on here with the news.
Many thanks.

Donna Perfect sends this to y'all:
"I have looked and looked for info for Thomas Lenham’s (1805) father but can’t find any info so may be Thomas McKenzie is not his father . I am going to get his Birth certificate and that will tell us for sure.  Can you give a message to those ladies for me as I had a look to see if I could send a message on that site but I think you have to sign up with them to do that and I am not a member  of Ancestry I only done a trail once with them . Can you give them my many thanks for their help please."

Hi

You will not find a birth certificate as general registration did not start until 1837; the best you will find is a baptism record.

There are a number of submitted entries for a Thomas Lenham on the LDS IGI; no extracted records, so treat with caution  ;)  They refer to a baptism of 5th August 1804, Kingston upon Hull; some give marriages (no dates) to Dinah Watkin or Betsey Bailey.  Some give parents as Thomas and Ann; some don't give any parents at all.

There are/were and maybe still a lot of Lenhams in Hull, North Yorkshire. That's where I believe my grandfather came from, J Lenham, Stockton on Tees
