Hi, My mother was a Traynor, her father Michael's father was also a Thomas Traynor. They were from Aughrim, Co. Wicklow.  My mothers brother Joseph Traynor was shot dead in Croke Park on Bloody Sunday 1920.
I too have wondered about Thomas Traynor, Tullow. Has anyone any information on who his parents were, and did he have a Wicklow connection?  as Tullow is close enough to the Wicklow border.

My Mother was a Traynor. Her brother Joseph Traynor was one of the fourteen shot dead in Croke Park on Bloody Sunday 1920.  My grandfather Michael Traynor son of another Thomas Traynor was from Aughrim Wicklow.   Refrences were made in the family that there was a connection to the Carlow family.

Thomas Traynor (Carlow) is listed in the 1901 and 1011 census in Dublin. He was a bootmaker.  At the time of his death he was living at Ceants Forth, Mount Brown.
