Stithians lookup please

Searching for the marriage of Matthew Roberts(1794) and Avis ?(1792)
[also Robberts, Robarts]
The first child I know of is Elizabeth Ann, baptised 12 Sep 1819 Stithians.
On 1851 Census Avis says she is from Stithians.

I cant see marriages for this period on IGI, any one in a position to look? Any help appreciated.

Incidentally IGI has 140 baptisms for an Avis in Cornwall in 1792 +/- 10 years
9 of them in Stithians.

On the censuses Matthew indicates he is from Port Isaac.
IGI search on St Endellion finds Matthew Roberts, 11 Sep 1796 son of Arthur Roberts and Mary.

General search for children of Arthur Roberts and Mary finds 3 later children at baptised at St Endellion and 3 earlier at St Mewan, all on the same batch P002371

I am puzzled, the map shows ST Endellion and St Mewan are a long way appart - why on the same batch?

no sign of the marriage at this church of either Matthew and Avis, or Arthur and Mary

Looked at Stithians - Marriage not there - oh well back to the drawing board

there's a likely marriage in Gwennap in 1818 to Avis Andrew and a baptism in Stithians that fits.

yes that certainly fits with both of their ages and the date of the first known child.
