Thomas Yates (cordwainer, b Tamworth Staffs) m Ann White, Leicester, 6/1/1815.
I'm a descendant and looking for details of where they came from and what happened to several descendants from about 1870 in Leicester
Thomas and Ann's family: James, Ann, Thomas(m Caroline Ward), William, Mary, Joseph betw 1815 and 1831. (Elbow Lane and Sanvey Gate areas.) Thomas Yates m Caroline Ward, and had 4 children: Mary Ann, William, Thomas, Emma (b1860).
Thomas married Maria Maw (St Lukes 1873) - Children: Thomas William Louis, Clement Arthur (my grandfather), Caroline Maria, Elsie Ada, Ettie,Herbert.
