Where could i find more info on a crime that took place in the 1920's from the southall area??
Any info ie newspapers court records etc would be helpful.

I don't think you will find much information regarding these kind of records on the net, due to
the era you are searching.
Your best bet is to go to the relevant RO office with as much info as possible and search the court records
there. You will have to satisfy the RO that you are searching for a family member in some Ro's,
as this is still deemed sensitive information.

you could also visit/ ring southall library and ask if they hold southall newspapers on microfiche .....if they do either go and have a look or be cheeky and ask if they will look for you if you supply them with the information........ you might get lucky and get a bored librarian willing to search for you!!!

Hi CA... if there is some way you can pin down the dare a bit more precisely it will make asking around about it much easier for lookups.

Thanks both I thought records from then might be a long shot. I have an inquest report from a paper(cant make out which though) .
 but its what happened to the accused after i'm interested in. I'm assuming there would of been a follow report in the paper about what happened to the accused.
