I have seen at a pre-auction viewing todayin Brentwood Essex, books given to May Adamson 4 Elder Grove Low Fell Gateshead 1/9/1923 aged 16 3/4 years from her grand father Thomas Lumsden of Edmonsley via Chester-Le-Street a book seller.
Also with the books is an old photo album full of photographs and post cards to the family. Details shown on Thomas Lumsden,born 30/10/1854.
