The colours you have all applied to the uniform are more than OK...There was always a slight variation in the cloth...

The Africa Star ribbon was the first to be issued, and came out whilst hostilities were still ongoing. That is why he has but the one ribbon up. 1944/5. The others were not issued until post hostilities... ;)
