csc,
that's a brilliant map.    I don't suppose you have the equivalent for the area around Johnstonebridge do you?

Hi

I am connected to the same family.

Agnes Johnstone 1803-1069 m John Kerr(Farmer) 1823.

Death cert states that she died aged 64 Broncho-pneumonia registered by her husband John Kerr their address was Collin Torthwold.

It states her father was Mungo Johnstone (CattleDealer) and Isabella Johnstone(ms also Johnstone)ms could possible be Carruthers though as Johnstone is possible an error

my connection is through John and Agnes's daughter Hellen Kerr who married William Telfer..
