Restore if its possible pls

The original photo was taken in 1931, and this is a scan of that. Anything done to improve the quality would be very much appreciated.

There is a fair amount of detail that can be gotten from this photo but is there any chance you can rescan it at 300dpi.  This one is only 72dpi.

Thank you all for trying to improve the picture for me. I have had a go at rescanning it at 300dpi, but it's come out as though its covered in snow. Maybe if I had the original photo instead of a scanned copy, it would come out better.

It's very kind of you all to take the time to work on the picture, and I've saved all the files.
