on Free BMD, I see March qrt 1858, Caistor district, marriage ,

Patrick Tierney to Mary Lynch.   if this is my couple, they may have come over from Ireland when children  ???

so , ;D 1851 and 1841 census  maybe a big help, in seeing their families.  hint, hint  :-[ :-[

this is turning into a very productive family ,  meaning, they don't appear to have come from thin air,

Patrick Tierney  full age a bachelor of Great Grimsby  a sailor.
Father ..Michael  a coast guard
Mary Lynch  full age a spinster  of Great Grimsby
Father..Patrick a labourer
Wits:  Patrick Kilty?...and Eliza Crowley.

Michael Tierney  age 24 a mariner of Grimsby
