Inch Blackwater Graveyards
« on: Tuesday 01 December 09 16:07 GMT (UK) »
I was told that there are 3 graveyards in Inch Blackwater.  I was able to visit only one of them on my visit in May 2008.  My family name is Lacy and I was trying to locate the graves of Patrick Lacy and Catherine Cavanagh Lacy, and their son Patrick (1855-1855).  Patrick and Catherine are my great grandparents who farmed there and lived close to the Irish Sea.  There are even fields today that are called "Lacy Fields" in Inch Blackwater.

How can I find the names of the 2 grave yards?

I don't know if they are in Cantwell's grave transcription book; I don't think they are.

Thanks for the cemetery name.

The last Lacy, I know of, was Catherine from Skreen who died in 1948.  I was able to find her grave along with her husband Thomas Lacy there.
