Am I going nuts ?

Seeking info on Duncan Parlan c1825 Stirlingshire..fine ??

Checking on Parlan family 1841 Stirlingshire, clicked on "view other on page" and end up with 144,405 NAMES  mostly NK..what goes on here..this is Ancestry I may add..or is it just me  >:( I don't think so.

Who do you report this to, never come across it before. ???

I've been having a few problems on Ancestry this morning (pages not loading etc). Maybe there is some 'maintenance' underway which is sending everything temporarily haywire.

I'd recommend sticking to SP or Freecen until they've finished  :)

Sylvia that could be him, looking for Duncan Parlan who married Margaret McKay in 1849 at Port of Monteith GRO388 0020 0154 sadly OPR's don't give much info..not having much luck with this guy.

Really quite interesting, have just worked my way through some of the 144 thousand names etc, just use the "view record" SURPRISING... this seems to be mainly 1841 records..have just come up with a couple of Fergusons I have been looking for..so you never know..can't explain really what I am getting at, but try it and see  :D

Or maybe someone with at little more "nouse"than me could have a look and put it on the general scotland board or something...

Too early in the morning so maybe I am not making much sense  ::)

Hi, the only Duncan Parlan showing on the IGI ( all Scotland in the 1800's),  Ch 11 Mar 1826, Gargunnock, Stirling. Parents- Robert Parlan and Jane McGlashan.

Robert and Jane married 16 Dec 1821 Gargunnock.Jane ch 10 May 1795, Gargunnock, Parents- Duncan McGlashan and Euphan Young.

IGI shows Duncan as one of six siblings.
