I am trying to link my Great great grandfather Edward Sludden, who is likely to originate from Donacavey area of TYRONE, to other Sluddens in that area. Edward arrived in Scotland with his wife Sarah (McSorley), his daughter Sarah and son Cormac during mid 1800's.
Edward died in 1873 in Garnkirk Workhouse
Owen and Terence Sluddin are listed in the Flax Growers List of 1796, and Charles, Mary, John and Hugh appear in Griffiths Valuation, all from around the same area.
I am sure Edward is of the same family but despite searching many databases, I can not link him to those already stated
