1891/1901 Census Please For Lillian Augusta ROSSITER

Hi,

I am doing a one name study of the Rossiter family and am looking for information please about the parents, grandparents and  siblings of Lillian Augusta R Rossiter born circa 1890 in Writhlington.

Parents are believed to be Joseph Rossiter and Mary Ann Ashman ( born circa 1865) who married at Frome in 1885.

Any information would be greatly appreciated please.TIA.

From freereg this looks like the Ashman grandparents marriage record

St Mary Magdalene Writhlington 27 Jun 1857 James Ashman bachelor , coalminer of Writhlington and Ann Swift spinster of Writhlington. Groom's father James Ashman , engineer at coal works, spouse's father Job Swift coalminer. Witnesses John Padfield and Elizabeth Hearne. Marriage by banns.

If James Ashman's birthplace shown on the 1891 census is correct then this might be his baptism

St Peter & St Paul Kilmersdon 16 Mar 1834 parents James Ashman coalminer,abode Coleford & Susannah. There is a brother William baptised same place 31 Jul 1836, father's occupation shown as engineer.

James Ashman bachelor & Susannah Moore single  both of Kilmersdon married Kilmersdon 25 Sep 1831, witnesses Frances Turner & Robert Branch, marriage by banns.

If you check on freereg.org it looks like you might be able to go even further back than James & Susannah. Happy researching
