Anyone doing research on a line of Allens born circa 1790 - 1850 ? Several involved in brass casting, gilt toy making and jewellery; the males all with  the names : James, William, Henry or Charles. Of particular interest is an individual called John James born circa 1834, father called James and born 1794.

Thanks very much for that. Yes, I have that info and just wondered if anyone had any more knowledge about this particular branch of Allens.
