Thanks to everyone responding to  news of  Fred Ayres ..as my Ayres alll come from Isleworth area I do not think my Fred is the  ONE..I was just hopeful! But will plod on regardless.Cheers Stel. :'(

Frederick Henry Ayres was my Great Great Grandfather. This is what I know

1841 - not listed, but family were residing in Clerkenwell.
1851 - residing in Clerkenwell - Turner
1861 - residing in Clerkenwell - Turner
1871 - residing in Clerkenwell - Croquet manufacturer
1881 - residing in Clerkenwell - Turner
1891 - residing in Hove, Sussex - Manufacturer of games
1906 - died London
 
married to Elizabeth
Father - Thomas b, 1797, Frome

Frederick's son Rupert was my Great Grandfather; his son Kenneth was my Grandfather.
