(Yorks) 1891/1901 Census Lookup Requests Please For Ada Rossiter

Hi,

I am doing a one name study of the Rossiter family and am looking for information please about the parents, grandparents, siblings and children of Ada Rossiter baptised on 15th September 1887 at Bradford.

Parents are believed to be William and Caroline Rossiter but I have no further information about them.

Ada has a brother Herman who was baptised at the same time.

Any information would be greatly appreciated please. TIA.

Many thanks for that.

I do not appear to have this family in my database. In the 1881 Census they are shown as Rooster but FreeBMD gives them as Rossetter.

William Rossetter married Caroline Pitts in 1870 in Bradford.

I'm just wondering who the parents of the grand-daughter Ada F Rossetter are.

Also, is it possible to check the earlier censuses to find William's parents please?

I can only find him in 1871 and birthplace listed as Northamptonshire, Catrine but Catrine seems to be in Ayrshire.
