Thanks Dara

I don't have his birth certificate.  The info is from my aunt, but I believe his mother's maiden name may have been Foley.

I'll follow your suggestions and see what I get.

many thanks

Best match for Andrew b. 1885 is:

Name: Andrew Murphy
Registration district: Enniscorthy
Record type: BIRTHS
Registration date - quarter and year: Apr - Jun 1885
Volume: 4
Page: 607

Finding a marriage for James and Kate will be a bit more difficult as both of their names are quite common.

You need to match the details for both names - Reg, Dist., Year and Quarter, Volume and Page number. Ignore the film, GS and image numbers as they are internal LDS housekeeping records.

Let us know how you get on.

Dara.
