If you go through www.google.com when the box comes up type in Maguire of Fermanagh
there is a article about the Maguires by a John O'Donovan the Maguire were chiefs.

It is really easier if the link is given-

My Maguires came from Cleggan near Mullaghdun.  Four of five children plus the Patterson listed on the ticket are matched with the parents and the marriage.  Many thanks to the Rector's Churchwarden of Cleenish and Mullaghdun for his investigation on my behalf, and to Elwyn of Antrim for his advice.
I'd still like to know why they listed Blacklion as residence before embarkation.  Yes, it was perhaps better known than Cleggan, but I've a feeling there was some other connection.

Seeking Anne Maguire (b. circa 1855) and her ancestors. Father was Pat Maguire whose occupation was a farmer. She married Felix McCann 28 Feb. 1877 in Enniskillen. Felix McCann's father was Joseph McCann, occupation laborer. Both Anne and Felix appear in the 1901 census at 11 Silverhill Townland, Enniskillen Rural, Co. Fermanagh. Anne and Felix McCann had 10 children born with 8 living in 1901. Daughter Maggie (Margaret Anne McCann, born circa 1893) was my grandmother. Would also like info on Maggie's siblings and their descendants.
Enniskillen, Cork, Cavan, Dublin ; families of Hodges, Carroll, Nevin, McCann; Jack, Felix, Hugh, & Lizzie McCann of Enniskillen

As I just posted on another thread here- Maguire is probably one of the most common surnames in Fermanagh which will make it more difficult to sort out which particular people belong to which family.
To trace your particular family you'll need to know the townland where they lived. What's Anne's residence at the time she got married?

It would be helpful to know if they were C of I or RC.  Then you might be able to narrow down the church they were married in.

eamag,

I am doing research on Loftus Albert Maguire. Do you know why he is buried in Dundonald Cemetrry with the Hanford family?   Also, I only have 3 of his siblings. Can you post the names of the brothers and sisters? Thanks
