Back to my great grandfather Michael Patrick Higgins, first names in any order or singly just to help things out!! I have now comfirmed he was born at Headford in Galway on the 2nd May 1834, or so he said, my question is how do I find out if he was baptised in that parish and where would these records be held? as he was the son of a soldier or so he said, it will only be this baptism I need as I guess his siblings if any could be born anywhere the regiment was stationed.
