Because there is a good chance that he might still be alive, it would probably be a good idea to remove his date of birth (for his privacy).
After checking around the internet and reading your posts, I see that he either last lived in Toronto or Hamilton. I checked MapQuest, and it appears that his street address was a Toronto address.
If you haven't already done so, perhaps you could contact the Toronto Public Library and ask if they might check Toronto Directories for the years 1970, 1975 and 1980 (or three other similar years). You may ask for up to three lookups per request. If he is found in Toronto, at the address you have mentioned in other posts, you could try writing to the TPL again, with three additional, later years. This could help pinpoint when he either left that address, or confirm that he stayed for some time.
