As mentioned elsewhere, there is a William John Frost bap 5 Sep 1877 in Kensington whose parents were Henry and Ellen, but Henry was a compositor.

In one of your other posts you mention that Henry's wife was called Louisa. How do you know that?

A Henry Wells Frost and Louisa Mary Frost had six children baptised between 1892 and 1899; he is described as a porter each time (incl potato porter twice and a market porter in 1899). This is much later than your William John Frost c1877.

Another Henry Wells Frost had three children baptised in 1873 with wife Alice. He is described as a linen porter. A third (?) Henry Wells Frost (with wife Emma) had a child baptised at the same church a couple of months later and then a William in 1877. He was a carman.

How sure can you be of Henry's age?
And are you sure that William was born 'William John'? How do you know he was born in St Pancras?

Hi

This man?

1953 Death registration
William J Frost aged 78
Northampton Volume: 3b Page: 464

Born circa 1875 if the age given on death is correct.

The William John born Marylebone in 1877 whose father Henry was a printer married in 1899 when his occupation was a law writer.

Slightly older if you are certain he came from the Marylebone/Pancras area of London is this man

St Pancras Old Church 8th October 1872 born 20th September
William John Frost mother Mary, Workhouse

Henry Wells Frost the market porter in Pancras on the 1901 census was at that point 'married' to Louisa Mary. He married Alice Drummond in 1869. His son William was baptised at St Barnabas Church Marylebone in 1879, born 26th June 1876. His father at the time was a carman as he was on the 1881 census. Alice died in 1883.
Henry's first (baptism found) child with Louisa Mary was baptised in 1892 at St Pancras when Henry was a potato porter.
It is hard to find the family on the 1891 census.

The only birth registration in Marylebone matching the birthdate of William from his baptism (given there was up to 6 weeks to register a birth) is

Births Sep 1876
Frost  William John     Marylebone  1a 5_5

Other than a William Frost birth registered in Shoreditch this is the only London birth registration for a William Frost. You would need to order the certificate to see whether it fits for the son of Henry Wells Frost.

I too am looking for a William frost who lived in the same area whos father or brother was also a Carman. William Frost had a son Albert James frost born about 1889. On Alberts marriage certificate it states William was a warehouseman in 1917. can you connect him to you as i am at a loss tracing the right one!!!!
