Helen Duncan Walker Doig, 1886-1954
« on: Sunday 13 March 05 22:12 GMT (UK) »
Hello There,

With any luck at all someone who is related to this lady will contact me...she is the sister of my grt Gran Grace Wilkie Walker.  It appears Helen Duncan Walker b. 24 Apr 1886, at Whiteburn, Kirriemuir married a William Bailey 16 July 1909, in Dundee.  Looks like William may have died in the war in 1915.  Thus, Helen then married a Robert Doig, 4 Jan 1921.   Helen died in hospital on 20 May 1954, her usuay place of abode was 6 Wolsely Street, Dundee.  If anyone is familiar with this lady or her family I would dearly love to hear from you, desperately trying to piece my Grt Grans family together from Canada.....your help would be a god send !

Thanks a Bunch

Hi Wendy, the Doig name from Angus appears in my tree way back in early 1800's (1 female Doig married into my Youngson line) and I found the following site of great help:

That's good...I realise you probably want more info on Helen but at least this gave you something.  Hopefully someone will be able to help you with either her own maiden name line or her first husband's line aswell.
