The oldest legitimate genealogy in the world are those that claim descent from the Chinese philosopher Confucious, who lived circa 550 BC IIRC. That's the Guiness Record, it's been scrutinised by experts and it's legit as far as genealogists are concerned.
This family tree back to Adam was a good laugh. It seemed possible to begin with, then he was lucky enough to get connected to royalty which is incredibly convenient, then he started tracing back through to Dark Age Scotland which is possible if you are from royalty, but then all of a sudden we were over in the Middle East? How the hell did it jump from Scotland to Israel?!
