Yes, I live nearby and would certainly do that for you.  However, now is not the time....we have sleety rain and dark skies, a complete contrast with Christmas Day when we had sparkling sunshine on crispy snow white surfaces.

Weather should improve by Friday I would hope, so perhaps a New Year result for you.

Whoops forgot to ask you, do folk in England put death notices in newspapers as we do out here?

Yes, I would think it likely that their deaths would have been announced in The Hereford Times, but unlikely that there would be an Obituary unless they were particularly prominent people.

Not sure what the procedure is with regard to archive copies of The Hereford Times, but will try to find out as they have an office in Hereford.

We have a lovely covering of snow tonight.  It's absolutely picturesque - and 'chilly'.

Hiya, archive copies of the Hereford Times are split between Hereford Record OFfice, and Hereford Central Library.  I think that the library has the more recent copies, but I can't be 100% certain.  ::)

I have been chasing around for the Waldron family especially my Florence etc but have come across the deaths of Patrick James Waldron  and his wife Elizabeth Sarah.

They are buried in the graveyard at Belmont Abbey Herefordshire and heres the link to the photographs of the graves!!

As promised, I have been to Shobdon Cemetery today and have taken pictures of the WALDRON grave for you.

If you like to contact me via a Personal Message, I can then forward these as an attachment.

Meantime, Happy New Year to you and to others who have responded to this thread.
