HOUGH Joseph & Sarah

Hoping that SKS will please help me with this family. I am interested in USA shipping, census, and bmd records for the family.
From the marriage certificate I know that Joseph HOUGH and Sarah LANDER were married 8th July 1845 at St Werburgh, Derby, Derbyshire.
Son Samuel Lander HOUGH ba 1848 Derby. (Possibly other child Sarah ba 1846 Derby)
The family didn't appear on the 1851 census in England and I believe that they went to the USA.
Possible Death for Sarah 14 Jan 1864 Newfoundland, Jefferson Morris County, New Jersey
Possible Death for Joseph 5 Aug 1885 Passic New Jersey. (this info is from ancestry, I have tried to contact the own of the tree but have had no reply)
Son Samuel had returned to Derbyshire by 1874.
Anything about this family in the USA would be greatly appreciated.

The dates are out, but mentioning it because there are similarities:
Leaving Liverpool on the Western World and arriving New York on 20 May 1850:
"Josh" (it could be Jos h - the abbreviation for Joseph) Hough, age 29.
Sarah Hough, age 30
Thos Hough, age 12
Saml Hough, infant

Samuel is written as infant, which I believe means he was 0-12 months old.  Also, Saml is shown as female. 

Josh/Joseph's occupation was Wheelwright.

My Joseph HOUGH was a wheelwright and the age is correct so could be the right one. Sarah and Samuel also look OK.
Thomas age 12 ?? I will have to have alook around for a birth and on 1841 census.
