Hi Annie

John & Harriet married in 1793 but the first child shown is 1799.  I think Edward definitely belongs to them as Edward called his daughter Harriet

This is Edward in 1851 - children b Liverpool.  Address looks like Cavendish St

Edward Avery 53 b Warrington chair maker
Edward 15
Jane 13

Looks like Sarah died early doesn't it ? she was dead before 1841 ....

You know I get so side tracked with my family ... I'm sure Edward is my family but not my direct family ! and now we have all these Blinkinsops too !!

John and John the father are my line .... there are so many Averys but then they change their name at some point ... no idea why yet !!  ???

Still looking though !

If they remained in Liverpool can you find them in Gore's directories of the period - these are on film at Liverpool Central Library (and possibly elsewhere) - I only have 1790 + 1798 editions (and I'm away from them at present) - the late 1790's saw many troops on the Island because of trouble in Ireland - I don't seem to have anyother ref to Av(a/e)ry on my site so very very unusual on Island
any thing with a Manx Connection

Hi Annie

I have been reading your threads and I am a descendent of Edward and Sarah's son Edward.

Edward moved to east London and married Amelia Foay.

Where do you fit into all this and is there any iformation you might like from me

regards

Denise
