Marriage PR: Elizabeth Jane REYNOLDS

I am looking for the Marriage PR of Elizabeth Jane Reynolds b1843.

In 1861 she is living with her father John Reynolds b1820 an Ag Lab of Tregavara RG 9/1593 F18 P15

A contact is saying that she married a William Matthews in Penzance in 1871 and that they had a child named Thomas in 1874 Penzance, after that they travelled to Australia.
I haven't been able to verify that this is my Elizabeth with a father named John , and would appreciate any help offered.

The marriage you refer to is on freebmd in the September qtr

To look it up in parish records you need to know which church it took place in

I am afraid it will be impossible for someone to look this up for you. The marriage may have taken place in any of the villages in Penzance.

 Each Village would have the established church along with a few Chapels. You would need to know exactly which church marriage took place in for anyone to be able to look at the record. If it was in the registers office the lookup would not be possible.

There does appear to be a marriage at the right time

If you purchase a copy of this certificate her father should be named.

She may be in at RG10/2340 Folio 5 Page 2 - 10 Leskinich St Penzance

My contact hasn't replied  to me since I queried the facts of my Elizabeth marrying William Matthews and going to Australia...I haven't found any of them travelling there either so far.
I am a little loathed to buy the certificate, as it's possible he is linking two families together that aren't connected.

I will check out the head of the family in 1871 who has an Elizabeth Reynolds as a daughter/niece .

Hi Ambers,

Do they say which State of Australia the family are said to emigrate to? Depending on which State they emigrated to her Australian death certificate or even the index entry, may prove helpful by naming her parents.

Many thanks for your advice Kris, I didn't want to put you to any trouble as I have so little evidence myself of these people.

The link appears to be from the child of William Matthews and Elizabeth, Thomas Henry Matthews 6/6/1874.Penzance.   In his notes the source was a birth certificate, but a certificate would give the occupation of the father, and address of birth, which he then says he doesn't know...very confusing

Other notes say that they all lived in Melbourne first moving to Adelaide and then Bendigo, Victoria....Thomas died in Victoria.

Hopefully I will hear from the contact again, and will then have more details to work on.
