I have had the same problem just twice over the last couple of days (been using the site quite a lot), once with a census image and once on a London BMD marriage

Soon as I click on the "Having problems viewing this image" link, it reloads perfectly.

And now I have a problem with it opening up in the standard viewer but if I refresh it opens in the extended viewer so I am now in agreement its ancestry

Is anyone still having problems with this?  I've found its got considerably worse over recent days and the workround switching between viewers to reload now fails.  I've gone back to closing and reopening IE but the frequency of it happening has increased.  Its driving me up the wall ...

jc26red - did you get a response out of ancestry at all?

I still get the advanced switching to the simple viewer but thats my only problem.  I dont use IE though prefering firefox and Googole Chrome.

Hi Smudwhisk,

No reply from Ancestry at all. 

I haven't had a problem since but as my subs run out tomorrow and I'm not renewing for a while, I don't really expect them to reply.

Please acknowledge when a restorer works on your photos, it can take hours for them to work their magic

Please scan at 300dpi minimum to help save the restorers eyesight.
