Hi,

I can`t find her on the 1891 in Charles Street - the reference is RG12/3381 folios 99 to 100.   About the nearest to date is an Emma Hannas born Colne aged 17 lodging in Trawden,

Regards,
Mo

I think I have found her in 1881 - mis-transcribed as WANNON.  The image is atrocious and I think the address is Nineveh St

John   27 or 37 machinist b Liverpool
Baller   29 (I think this is meant to be Bella (Isabella)
Emma   7 b Colne
Clarrar (Clara)  4 b Colne
RG11 Piece 4164 Folio 93 Page 22

I wonder if John married twice - there is an 1880 marriage to Isabella Maxwell in Burnley

In my opinion the marriage residence is not always the place of birth. Never forget Workhouse and overseers accounts records of birth
