Ontarios Please helps sister
« on: Wednesday 06 January 10 05:05 GMT (UK) »
I have decided to do that last big stumper on here as well. This one is more difficult than the last no doubt.

Harriet Bailey sister to Ethel Jessie Bailey (Thomas) daughter to Charles and Harriet Bailey came over from England as well, she was born 1868 and that is all I know., I dont expect anyone can find anything, but thought I may as well try. After she came over, as far as we know, she didnt come to Alberta but stayed in Ontario...

night all :)

This tree shows a marriage for daughter Eliza to Daniel Davis in Winnipeg which can also be found on the official Manitoba site
http://vitalstats.gov.mb.ca/Query.php

On the Manitoba Vital statistics site there is also a death for a Harriet Bailey 07/12/1886 at age 19 in Winnipeg.  Perhaps worth investigating although the name Bailey seemed fairly common in the area.

The family was in Lisgar, Manitoba on the 1891 census but I have no idea where they were in 1881.

The family is in Ottawa on the 1881 census. Their surname was transcribed as Boilie although it looks like Bailie to me. Here's a link to the census images:

There are two pages per image and the family is the last one listed on the bottom page of the first link and finishes with their youngest child listed on the first line of the top image at the second link.
