three brothers or father and two sons
« on: Wednesday 06 January 10 17:58 GMT (UK) »
've tried reducing the image size. Hopefully this helps.
Not sure if anyone can identify the regiment?
It looks like a father and two sons or three brothers.
I'm not very good at telling ages of people in old photos.
Again no photographer is listed, and it's on a blank postcard on the rear.

Hi,

My tuppenceworth is that they look more like brothers.  If you switched the middle one's moustache to one of the others, then they would look older too!  No noticeable lines on the face or forehead to suggest that one is twenty years older than the others and the eyes are all very similar - in shape and colour [I know it's B&W, but you know what I mean.... ;)]

Best wishes

Hello Rockford,

maybe having the moustache makes him look older than the others.

But they all do have the same eyes. So I would agree that we are looking at three brothers here. Point taken on the face lines. I never thought to look and compare them.
