I don't think the plot thickens and I think it is possibly the same Henry SINNETT that married in Tasmania. Look at the signatures and taking into account the one of the birth certificate was probably not rushed and was 11 years earlier than the attestation paper signature.....which may have been rushed.  The S on the 1915 attestation paper looks similar to me.  Need to see the H on the 1904 birth certificate.  It wasn't clipped very well when pasted to the web.

You could search TROVE for more on this man....it's all in the public domain.

I think there is a connection.  Same details as birth certificate BUT how do you know he was telling the truth at those times.

It cannot be Harry from Wodonga.

Henry Marsh SINNETT claimed to be 33 years in 1915/1916 ie born c1883.  Henry SINNETT father of your father claimed he was 21 years of age in 1904 ie born 1883.  May be simply a co-incidence. :)

Mmmm....  Henry Marsh/Marshall SINNETT appears to be Samuel Marsh SINNETT. I don't subscribe to the website that shows the details of Samuel Marsh SINNETT Samuel was born on 29 November 29 1882 as the father of a child born in Victoria in 1909 and Annie M RYAN as the mother.  It appears on a family tree.

SINNETT Samuel Marsh
Father Edward John Mother Alice WATSON
At Ballarat East  1883  Reg#400

He certainly like changing his name.

Living in Smythesdale Vic in 1943
http://nla.gov.au/nla.news-article11337721

This looks like him enlisting in WW2 as Henry Marsh SINNETT now born 29 Dec 1892 with NOK Alice ::)  His mother.

There are two files on http://www.naa.gov.au/collection/search/index.aspx   Both have been digitised.

There is no Henry Marsh SINNETT born 1892 to Edward John SINNETT and Alice WATSON

Samuel Marsh SINNETT first and only appearance on the electoral roll was in 1949 with a Gladys Myrtle enrolled to vote at the same addresses.

Australian Electoral Roll
1949
SINNETT Gladys Myrtle 181 Fitzroy Street, St Kilda    HD
SINNETT Samuel Marsh  181 Fitzroy Street, St Kilda  Manager
and
SINNETT Gladys Myrtle  89 Bruce Street, St Kilda HD
SINNETT Samuel March  89 Bruce Street, St Kilda No occupation

Death
SINNETT Samuel March
Father Edward   Mother Alice  WATSON
At West Coburg  70 years  1952  Reg#11099

Samuel was cremated at Fawkner on 7 Sep 1952.

And a big thank you to Matthewj164 who found the parish record of Henry M SINNETT's marriage in 1908 Tasmania.  I couldn't see the image on the familysearch.org link in a previous post.

I've also reposted the birth cert signature.  Sadly the certificate I found online hadn't been clipped very well.  You need to see the "H" in his signature.  Chezza could you clip the complete signature from the birth certificate you have and post here please.  I'm sure we are all wondering what your thoughts are at this stage.
