Hi CSC
Thank you for the information on Robert Kerr can you tell me where you found the information. Robert had a younger brother John who was in the kings own scottish borders and was killed in action in 1917 , his name is above the gate at mouswald kirk where both his parents are buried. I have recently found  Roberts older brother James Kerr who was in the police force he married Sarah Edgar from Moffat in 1909, i would like to find out if he was in the army.
If you come across any other information about Robert Kerr was he married ! did he have a family ! please will you let me know.
I would also like to thank you for information you found for me a few month's ago about Susan Kirk she was Francis Kerr's second wife.

I have only seen your message by total co-incidence.  Robert Kerr was my great grandfather.  He was a policeman in Lanarkshire.  He died before I was born but I remember his wife.  I have other information if you want.

McMaster - Glasgow
Kerr - Dumfries
Irving - Dumfries
Doull - Caithness
